🏢 Important Commute Note: The Final Leg

When planning your commute, keep in mind that the Northwood HQ is about a 20-minute walk from the Northwood Tube station.

Alternatively, the base offers a dedicated shuttle from Moor Park station (one stop before Northwood on the Metropolitan line if headed in the Southern Direction, and one stop after if heading in the Northern direction) directly to the HQ. The shuttle schedule will be provided upon your arrival.

All commute times below are estimated total travel times, factoring in the Tube journey plus the walk or shuttle transfer. Delays can happen to make sure you check Citymapper or Google Maps before commencing your transit. 

📍 The Local Area (0–30 mins)

Northwood A leafy, affluent suburb right on the edge of the London green belt. Known for quiet streets, spacious homes, and a family-friendly environment.

• Total Commute: 0–20 minutes (Depending on where you live in Northwood, you can walk straight to the HQ or take a quick bus/drive).

Watford A bustling town just outside the London boundary. Offers more affordable housing, extensive shopping (Atria Watford), and a lively nightlife scene.

• Total Commute: ~25–30 minutes (10-minute Tube ride directly to Moor Park, then take the HQ shuttle).

Pinner A historic, picturesque neighborhood with a Tudor-style high street. Highly sought after by families for its top schools and village feel.

• Total Commute: ~25–30 minutes (6-minute Tube to Moor Park/Northwood + shuttle/walk).

Uxbridge A busy suburban commercial center and university hub with two large indoor shopping malls and varied housing options.

• Total Commute: ~15–20 minutes by car (Driving is highly recommended; public transit takes ~50+ minutes).

Ruislip A peaceful suburban area famous for its ancient woods and the beach at Ruislip Lido. Great for outdoor space and parks.

• Total Commute: ~15 minutes by car (Public transit takes ~45+ minutes via Rayners Lane).

Harrow-on-the-Hill A historic village perched on a hill, famous for Harrow School. Offers independent cafes, sweeping city views, and fast transit connections.

• Total Commute: ~30–35 minutes (12-minute Tube to Moor Park + HQ shuttle).

Wembley (Wembley Park) Famous for the national stadium and arena, featuring massive modern regeneration, high-rise apartments, designer outlet shopping, and Boxpark.

• Total Commute: ~40–45 minutes (20-minute fast Tube to Moor Park + HQ shuttle).

Finchley Road A highly connected, practical commercial hub. It lacks a traditional "village" feel but offers unbeatable transit links and amenities. Good if you want the in-between work and Central London feel. 

• Total Commute: ~45–50 minutes (25-minute fast Tube to Moor Park + HQ shuttle).

🚇 Medium Commute (50–70 mins)

St. John's Wood A wealthy, peaceful, and leafy neighborhood just outside Central London. Famous for the Abbey Road crossing, Lord’s Cricket Ground, and large villa-style homes.

• Total Commute: ~50–55 minutes (Jubilee line to Finchley Road, Met line to Moor Park + HQ shuttle).

Marylebone An upscale, chic neighborhood that feels like a quiet village tucked directly into Central London, full of boutique cafes and Georgian terraces.

• Total Commute: ~55–60 minutes (Direct Met line from Baker Street to Moor Park + HQ shuttle).

Ealing (Ealing Broadway / Ealing Common) Often called the "Queen of the Suburbs," offering a great balance of large parks, lively high streets, and diverse housing.

• Total Commute: ~35–45 minutes by car (Public transit takes ~65+ minutes).

Hampstead Heath Famous for its wild 790-acre parkland, bathing ponds, and hilltop city views. Offers a relaxed, intellectual village vibe with historic pubs.

• Total Commute: ~60–70 minutes (Overground/Northern line to connect to the Met line to Moor Park + HQ shuttle).

🏙️ City Living (70+ mins)

Note: Living in Central/West London means a longer commute, but gives you full access to the vibrant city lifestyle.

Soho The beating heart of Central London’s entertainment and nightlife district. Packed with world-class dining, historic pubs, and theaters.

• Total Commute: ~65–75 minutes (Tube to Baker Street, Met line to Moor Park + HQ shuttle).

Kensington Elegant, historic, and highly affluent. Home to the Natural History Museum, the V&A, and bordered by Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park.

• Total Commute: ~70–80 minutes (Tube to Baker Street, Met line to Moor Park + HQ shuttle).

Chelsea A picturesque, exclusive riverside neighborhood famous for luxury dining and boutique shopping along the King's Road.
